About Oliver
Brazilian born Oliver began his hairdressing when he, aged 19 moved from native Brazil to London. His first job was assisting and training at Tommy Guns in Soho where he got to know legendary hairdresser, Neil Moodie. Neil became Oliver’s first important mentor.
In 2004, whilst already working with his own clients, Oliver began assisting Paris based Marc Lopez. Under Marc's mentorship, Oliver perfected his skills and developed his own unique style.
In the years that followed, Oliver did the hair for global leaders and celebrities. He styled the hair for global advertising campaigns for brands like Burburry, Gieves & Hawkes and Apple. Trying to keep a balance between unpaid, but credit-acclaiming editorials, and commercial work that paid for his talent.
He was in demand for his creativity, passion, his deep professionalism and personal integrity. Understanding his clients needs, professional & private alike, led Oliver to expand his freelance career and created his mobile styling service – BlowToGo which he set up with his then life partner - Erik Bindslev.
